Overview

Experience the Wahiba or Sharqiyah Sands Desert – which is the home of the omani Bedouin tribes,
and go with your local guide for desert safari with an overnight in Safari Desert Camp. Enjoy the sand dunes in a 4×4 vehicle, with our expert local guide and explore with him the desert, to know the Bedouin culture and community. Maybe you will meet a Bedouins on the way to the camp.
The tour will begin in the morning via a private taxi with a ride through the Hadjar
Mountains, the Al Aqq Wadi, and via the cities Ibra and Al Qabil and go on to the Bani Khalid Wadi where you can enjoy a stroll along the riverbed and cool off in the crystal-clear pools in the mountains. The Wadi-Bani-Khalid is one of the largest natural water pools in Oman.
There is the possibility to take a short lunch snack as well (not included)

After your Wadi visit, the trip will give you the opportunity to travel through some of the most majestic sand dunes of Oman in the Wahiba Sands Desert, in a 4×4 vehicle fit for the desert and with a local travel guide.
The tour will continue to visit the dunes in Bediyah and on to the Wahiba Sands
Desert for sunset. In the evening, a delicious buffet dinner with local and international
options will be available for you along with a campfire to relax under the starry skies. After
breakfast the next morning, the tour will return to Muscat and drop you off at either your
hotel or the harbor.
